More Choice for More North Carolinians as AmeriHealth Caritas Expands Health Insurance Marketplace Presence for 2025
AmeriHealth Caritas Next℠ Will Be Offered in Additional North Carolina Counties
Even more North Carolinians seeking coverage on the Health Insurance Marketplace® will soon have access to AmeriHealth Caritas Next℠ as the product’s availability expands beyond Western North Carolina and the Triad.
With the addition of Alamance, Caswell, Person, and Vance Counties, AmeriHealth Caritas Family of Companies will offer marketplace plans in 39 North Carolina counties.
North Carolinians enrolling in AmeriHealth Caritas Next for 2025 will be able to choose from three bronze-level plans, four silver-level plans, and two gold-level plans. Some plans are available with low or zero premiums after federal government subsidies.
The annual open enrollment period starts Nov. 1, with coverage to take effect Jan. 1, 2025.

AmeriHealth Caritas Family of Companies also serves North Carolina standard plan Medicaid enrollees statewide through AmeriHealth Caritas North Carolina and offers marketplace plans in Delaware, Florida, and South Carolina.
